Steps to Obtain an RX
- Submit a Referral:
- Log into SleepTestCRM and open the patient's referral in the Drafts tab.
- Complete all necessary folders, including medical history, insurance information, and device selection.
- Ensure all folders are marked green, then click "Submit Now" to finalize the referral.
- Conduct a Pre-Test Telemedicine Visit:
- Most insurance carriers usually require this step for coverage.
- Ensure the patient has a functioning email and a device with a camera for the telemedicine call.
- Complete the Sleep Test:
- Once the test is completed, results are typically available within four business days of equipment return.
- Post-Test Telemedicine Visit:
- This visit is mandatory for specific diagnoses and insurance requirements, such as severe OSA or using Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, or United Healthcare.
- Discuss therapy options during this visit, such as CPAP or Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT).
- Access and Review Results:
- Access the results and the Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN) through the Completed tab in SleepTestCRM.
