If you have questions about insurance coverage or payment concerns for your sleep test, here are some steps you can follow to get the help you need:

Check Your Insurance Benefits

Once you activate your patient portal and agree to the Terms of Service, SleepTest.com offers a complimentary insurance check. This process usually takes 24-48 hours. Before you decide to proceed with the test, you will receive an email detailing any out-of-pocket costs.

Payment Options

If your insurance is out-of-network or you do not have insurance, you can choose the cash payment option, the Express/Skip-to-Ship. This allows you to pay out-of-pocket and skip the pre-test telemedicine visit. The fees for this option are as follows:

  • $285 for the home sleep test lab
  • $95 for the pre-test telemedicine visit
  • $85 for the post-test telemedicine visit

Updating Insurance Information

If you get new insurance while your information is still pending, you can update the insurance folder in your patient portal. If your referral has already been submitted, you can request reactivation or submit a new referral with the updated insurance information.
